MLB All-Star Sean Doolittle Calls WRRV

The MLB All-Star picks are in and a friend of WRRV's has made the cut!

Before the season started, I got a chance to talk to Sean Doolittle, pitcher for the Oakland A's. Since that interview, he's become the team's closer, signed a nice new contract with the team, and put up mind-bogglingly good stats. Like, all-time great stuff.

And as of last night, he's officially an all-star.

I don't want to say that the reason all of those things happened are because he called up the station before the season... it's just a bit too coincidental, don't you think?
