New On WRRV: Bishop – River

Can I tell you how hard it is to hunt down information on an artist that just goes by "Bishop"?  Its not easy.

I caught this song about 2 weeks ago and it has seriously stuck with me since then. The vocals are intense, the background music (and it really is just a background to her voice) is catchy, and the lyrics suck you in.

It's a terrific piece of stripped down, emotional music and I'm crazy happy we're playing it on the station. It's got a clap you can follow along with, and it's got an almost AWOLNATION - Sail vibe to it.
