A radio station sponsored concert over the weekend ended with cops in riot gear after disgruntled fans began throwing bottles and attacking police.

While the show was at New Jersey's Met Life Stadium, the NYC based radio station Hot 97 sponsored the concert. 'Summer Jam' featured artists like Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean and Chris Brown. Fans began attempting to illegally enter the sold out show by storming the gates, many were not ticket holders.

The Times Herald Record reports the New Jersey State Police, in attempting to disperse the crowd, used an armored vehicle to first blast the crowed with deafening noise. When that didn't work, they began shooting tear gas. Authorities were able to eventually clear the crowd but as a result the gates to the concert were closed, preventing some with tickets from getting into the show.
