NY Man Wins Largest Jackpot At Empire City Casino

A New York man has won the largest racetrack casino jackpot in state history. The man wants to be known only as Howard G. and won nearly one-and-a-half-million-dollars last month. Howard was able to turn $20 into almost one and a half million. He was playing slots at Empire Casino in Yonkers and hit the jackpot on the Wheel of Fortune Triple Stars machine. The machine was located just inside that casino, near the valet entrance. The 66-year-old picked up his prize-winning check this week and said he had a gut feeling he was going to win on that 20-dollar spin. In fact that morning, he told all of his friends and co-workers that he was going to win that jackpot, he just knew it.  His wife reacted by telling him he could now ditch his excuses for not getting their roof fixed.
