An investigation led to the arrest of an Orange County man for his alleged possession of an illegal gun, marijuana, mushrooms, hashish, and more.

Wednesday, the Orange County Drug Task Force, assisted by Orange County Sheriff’s Special Operations Group, executed a search warrant at 41 Schoolhouse Road in the Town of Greenville.

Officials say they developed information that marijuana and other illegal drugs were being sold at the residence. A search warrant yielded approximately 8 pounds of marijuana, a grow operation containing 65 marijuana plants, concentrated marijuana oil, mushrooms, a .22 caliber hand gun, and $8,300.

Louis Iribarren, 42, of Greenville was charged with 2nd-degree criminal possession of a weapon, 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of controlled substance, and endangering of the welfare of a child.

Iribarren was arraigned in the Town of Greenville court and remanded to the Orange County Jail.

Drug Task Force Investigators were assisted by the Deer Park Police Department,
Child Protective Services for a removal of a child from the residence and the State Police CCSERT.
