I love that you are thinking of me… More than 8 years after I have switched carriers. Did you miss me? Do you want me to come back to you? Re-establish my wireless service with you? Maybe re-join the diminishing league of land-line owners again?
I was very surprised to open my mailbox and see an envelope from you
There are good days, there are bad days, and then there are days when you confuse Samuel L. Jackson with Laurence Fishburne and find yourself at the mercy of an actor whose voice can make even the strongest man whimper in terror. This sounds like a joke, but it actually happened on live television, and since this is the internet, it will never go away and the news anchor who made the tragic error will never live it down.
Last week actor Will Ferrell was an Internet sensation with his hilarious claim that he was actually Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, something many have debated over for many years due to their uncanny physical similarities. The actor-comedian made his confession during an infamous Reddit ‘Ask Me Anything’ (AMA) session resulting in Smith offering up his own video in response, challenging Ferrell to a drum battle.
Last night (Feb. 9), a momentous television event aired on CBS celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' arrival to the United States. The band's performance on 'The Ed Sullivan Show' introduced America to the Beatles, beginning the biggest rock and roll revolution of all time. In tribute to that day, 'The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles' aired featuring performances from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with Foo Fighters / Nirvana rocker Dave Grohl.
Well, I'm excited. Just as many other people out there I've been looking forward to the return of AMC's The Walking Dead from it's mid-season break. As i was hoping, the show looks like its going back to it's roots where the people are against zombies and it's all about survival on the road
I have spent the past several days endlessly infuriated by a game on my iPhone called Flappy Bird. It is not the cute, fun addiction of Candy Crush. It pure, unbridled, seething, shout-it-from-the-mountaintops hatred
I'm all for sticking it to the man. I'm all for weird art experiments.
But this is annoying.
A group of "artists" inevitably attempting to make a "statement" opened a Starbucks store. It's got all the products one would expect, the menu looks the same, it's even got the Starbucks logo on the store
The United States dominated a new Olympic sport, and the host nation of Russia claimed its first gold of the Sochi Games during the first weekend of competition. Here's a recap of this weekend's action:
By now you've seen a ton of those "Look Back" videos on Facebook, which makes it look like pretty much all of your friends and loved ones have died and Facebook has done them the morbid courtesy of making a nice obituary montage. Fun! If you're anything like us, you've been ignoring the hell out of them, but here's one you shouldn't ignore: a Look Back video for Walter White of 'Breaking Bad,' which tracks Mr. White's sordid history on the show with humor and plenty of hashtags. Enjoy!
