PBR is returning to its roots.  Pabst Brewing Company making the big announcement this week that they will be opening a new brewery in Milwaukee on the exact same site where the company was founded in 1844.  The new microbrewery and tasting room will be housed inside an old German Methodist Church and should be open next summer.
Pabst shut down its Milwaukee operations 20 years ago and is based in outside Chicago. The new facility will offer tours, and feature a museum, a beer garden, and small-batch brews exclusive to that historic location.
