A mother and daughter from Sullivan County have been arrested for identity theft, according to New York State Police.

I'm all for family bonding, but maybe breaking the law isn't the best way to spend time with your family. Maybe next time, start with a movie.

Roxanne Foote, 55, and Ann Marie Webb, 32, were arrested for identity theft in the second-degree, according to a press release.

New York State Police received a complaint of identity theft from a Bloomingburg resident in September. An investigation revealed that in March 2016 a fraudulent accout was opened with a local cable company in the Bloomingburg resident's name.

Foote and Webb, who are mother and daughter, were arrested for identity theft charges.

The mother daughter duo was processed in the Wurtsboro barracks and were issued appearance tickets. The pair is due back in court in November.
