The parent company of Rold Gold Pretzels, Frito Lay, is announcing a voluntary recall of select Rold Gold Tiny Twists, Rold Gold Thins, Rold Gold Sticks and Rold Gold Honey Wheat Braided Pretzels.

The affected pretzels have the suggested consume by dates of June 28, 2016 to August 23, 2016. The recall is a result of a potential peanut contamination at the place where Rold Gold gets their flour to make the pretzels from.

Frito Lay has not received reports of illness related to consumption of the potential contaminated pretzels. If you are in possession of the recalled items, Frito Lay and Rold Gold would like to replace the products for you. Go to their website at www.pretzelrecall.com for a replacement coupon.

What is your favorite kind of hard pretzels? We found out this morning that Deuce is all about the pretzel rods or sticks and Brandi is all about the small traditional shaped pretzels.
