Star Wars Shirt Sexist? You Decide.

Target has been the recipient of many levels of backlash from Star Wars fans. They recently stopped selling a t-shirt because of it. The above image is what customers on Target.com are seeing when they try to get a look at or order this new t-shirt that is causing controversy.

The "offending t-shirt" consisted of an image with Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in a scene from the film "Star Wars" on what was presented to be a boys t-shirt. The outrage with the fans of the movies is based in the fact that this scene never happened. The original scene contained Darth Vader and Princess Leia.

Would this have been as "big of a deal" if Target had made the Princess Leia version available too? Do you say, "whats the big deal?" or "down with Target?"
