My interview series continued last week with a chat with Wayne Sermon, guitarist from Imagine Dragons. He drops a pretty big clue about the status of the new album.

When Night Visions dropped in 2012, Imagine Dragons went from playing casino gigs in Vegas to the biggest stages in the world. The album was certified double platinum signifying sales of over two million copies.

Smoke and Mirrors appeared two years later and featured the singles "I Bet My Life" and "Shots." The album didn't achieve the same level of success as their debut, but audiences continued to grow at concerts.

Following the touring cycle for Smoke and Mirrors, the band decided to take a much deserved break. They've been writing and recording material for the new album, but not a whole lot of information has been discussed publicly. Wayne gives everybody an unofficial idea of when we can expect that to be released in the interview below.
