Soundgarden Back In The Studio

Chris Cornell treated fans with a much welcome Soundgarden update via his Twitter page the other day. Soundgarden began writing the new album last year, but this updates their their status of getting down to work in the studio. The band put work on hold while Cornell completed his solo tour in support of his new album Higher Truth.

When Soundgarden reunited in 2013 after a 13 year hiatus, there was no guarantee the reunion would stick. When they released 'King Animal' in November of '12, it was their first new album in more than 16 years. The first material they released was a contribution to the Avengers Soundtrack, 'Live To Rise'.
