The Obstacle Course Racing season is almost at a close for the northeast. Tough Mudder had it's finally weekend at Englishtown, NJ, and the Spartan Super has one weekend left in Vernon NJ. This is the last major mud run for the northeast this year and it's normally one that makes you want to stop running OCR's anyways.

I've volunteered and run this course, even though it changes every year. Last year my legs cramped up pretty hard around mile 6. It was an uncomfortable last few miles.

It's later in the year this year, and that might actually make things a bit better. Last September was a hot month and there wasn't nearly enough water on the course. The forecast for next weekend is mid 50's and partly cloudy, which is pretty much perfect for running this kind of race....except for the water portions.

Anyways! This is it for 2016 for the Northeast! If you feel like you've got one more race in you, and a few bucks to burn give it a shot! Hit up the Spartan Race Super in Vernon, NJ this weekend!
