Surviving members of the band GWAR are now being sued for making off with their late lead singers cremated remains.  Dave Brockie's dad claims the band not only stole Dave artwork and bass guitars but they also stole is ashes, and are refusing to give them back to the family.  Dave Brockie formed the band in the 1980s and performed under the moniker "Oderus Urungus."  Dave died last year at the age of 50 as a result of acute heroin toxicity.

The lawsuit filed in court this week alleges that  GWAR is attempting to capitalize on the passing of Dave Brockie and not sharing any of the royalties with Brockies estate.
