Eating seeds could be a pastime activity for pre-schoolers, but so could rocking out. System of a Down's Shavo Odadjian made sure of that during a recent visit to his son's pre-school class where he performed for the kiddies.

As seen in the video below, Odadjian's son also has a guitar, but seems a little less focused on the instrument than dear ol' dad, who strums the familiar guitar licks from "Toxicity." You can catch a snippet of the performance, and scroll to see a wider-angle photo featuring the class' special guest.

System of a Down have reunited in recent years to play tour dates, but the time spent in the studio has not yielded a new album. With no new music on the horizon, guitarist Daron Malakian released a new Scars on Broadway disc earlier this year, while singer Serj Tankian has also been working on music. Meanwhile, back in July, Odadjian and drummer John Dolmayan posted a photo that suggested they were jamming together on music.

The band has already been chosen to co-headline two major concert events in 2019, playing Sonic Temple and Chicago Open Air in May. Stay up to date with their touring here.
