Drinking Beer for a Good Cause

You know I'm looking for any excuse to have a beer, especially if it's something new or different. Having a beer to try a unique style, having a beer to celebrate, having a beer at a ballgame; these are all well-known (and excellent) pastimes

What’s Your Warm Weather Ritual?

I know the weather has been back and forth recently but we all had a taste of that delicious, 80-degree day earlier this week, which of course got my warm weather juices flowing.

But what about you? Have you been bitten by the warm weather bug? If so, how do you celebrate the warm weather?

Maybe it's just me but I have a ritual every time there's a warm day: top down (my car jerks…get your mind out of the gutter), Bob Marley on the radio and a cold beer (after the drive of course!) I'm sure I'm not the only one who celebrates the sun, so now it's your turn to share! Do you pull out the grill and host an impromptu BBQ? Do you throw on your sneakers and go for a run with the dog? How about a nice picnic in the park? What do you say folks…What's your warm weather ritual?

While you ponder your response enjoy some Bob Marley! One Love my brother!

THE Hudson Valley Beer / Girl Scout Cookie Pairing List

I like beer.

In fact, this is my second time writing about beer on this website just this week (3,739th time overall. I've counted. It was exhausting).

But since it's that time of year, I figured I should put together my list of which Hudson Valley beers I'd pair with which Girl Scout Cookies

Stay healthy: Drink beer!

It's entirely possible I've talked about the health effects of beer in the past on this website, but that's only because I speak so much about beer it's kind of difficult to keep track of what topics I've covered

Sneeky Sneeky, Boise, Idaho

Patrons of CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho have been cheated on the amount of beer that they get served in the stadium. A recent discovery by a few people at a game posted a video to YouTube.com showing that the small beer that costs $4 is the same size as the large one for $7, it's just taller and thinner

Deuce’s Beer of the Week

Lazy Magnolia is a brewery we've featured in the past; it's always cool to get a sample of beer from all over the place and since we've been going so New York/Northeast-heavy, why not take a trip to Mississippi for this week's beer?

I will not confirm nor deny whether or not how much I love typing "Mississippi" influenced my decision.

But whatever

Deuce’s Beer of the Week

We're going old school with this week's beer. How old school? The 1300s!

Cisco’s Winter Shredder is a Braggot, a style of beer that blends qualities of beer with mead. It's been documented as far back as the Canterbury Tales, so you know this one is an important styl
