If it weren’t weird enough watching Rick and Morty inch into reality on our McDonald’s menu, the Billboard chart is certainly a head-turner. The fan-favorite Adult Swim series reached its next bizarre milestone, landing “Terryfold” on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart.
The all-consuming Game of Thrones vortex left little room for other TV on Sunday, but those who caught Rick and Morty Season 3’s latest saw even more fire. Adult Swim took a shot at Game of Thrones’ writing these past years, and they may have a point.
At long last, our national nightmare has ended. Well, begun, in that Rick and Morty Season 3 seems like the darkest year yet, but we at least finally know the summer premiere for new episodes, as revealed in a bonkers first trailer.
Rick and Morty has yet to set a Season 3 debut, even as the April Fools premiere promised a “summer” airdate. The delay once again spun rumors of cancellation and infighting, to which co-creator Dan Harmon now offers a lengthy and “less dramatic” explanation that they were “scared” to let down fans.
Wubba-lubba-dub-dub! Good news, local Rick and Morty fans. We may still have to wait to find out when the long-awaited third season of the show will finally premiere, but in the meantime, Adult Swim is bringing the show to the Hudson Valley...
