What happens when you mix 3 parts Pearl Jam with 2 parts Soundgarden? You get Temple of the Dog, and they rocked Madison Square Garden Monday night.

The band released a lone album in the early 90s and never got to tour to support it because of the success of their full time bands. The project started as a tribute to Mother Love Bone singer Andrew Wood who had, at the time recently passed away from an overdose.

Pearl Jam and Soundgarden went on to become two of the most influential bands of the time. But, fast forward two and a half decades and you have a 5 city tour to celebrate the release of the 25th anniversary edition of their self titled album.

The show itself was incredible. They opened with Say Hello To Heaven which set the tone for the rest of the night. Their set featured all 10 songs from the album and a whole lot of cool covers like Black Sabbath's 'War Pigs' and David Bowie's 'Quicksand'.
