And you thought lighting charcoal was hard.

So, lava is about 2,100 degrees, give or take a few. Normally, a good steak can cook around 300-500 degrees. Apparently, Bombas & Parr decided to speed up the process just a tad.

This is easily one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. The set up, the heat up of the material, the whole construction of the channel that would hold the lava. All to cook a piece of meat worth about $10.

Totally freaking brilliant.

I wonder if the lava gives the meat a distinct flavor?
