Trailer for Seth Rogen Produced AMC Show “Preacher” Drops

Preacher is a crazy comic. It's a cult hit, but it flies in the face of convention every chance it can get. Religion, violence, sexual connotation...just to name a few. It's often a brutal series, and it's FREAKING BRILLIANT.

AMC has a history of toeing the line when it comes to decency on basic cable. Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Halt and Catch Fire. But THIS show has the chance to be flat out bonkers.

The fact that someone is trying to get this on TV blows my mind just a little bit. The fact that it's Seth Rogen makes me feel good about it's chances. The fact it's on AMC makes me feel GREAT about it being true to the soul of the original story.

It looks awesome.

Preacher debuts next year. Can't wait.
