Trailer for the New Fantastic Four Is Out

Reboots!! Always with the reboots!!

I never liked the first Fantastic Four movies. They felt silly. There's comic movies that I want to be silly, but some that I desperately want to be serious. Perfect example is The Dark Knight reboot. I mean, seriously. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Carrey? The reimagining of The Joker in that series was sheer genius.

Guardians of the Galaxy? They're a goofy series to begin with. Make it silly and fun.

The original Fantastic Four never felt right to me, so I'm really glad they're giving it a more serious tone. Obviously Marvel is leading up to something big. Ultron is on his way, The Avengers got heavy in the last flick, and an Infinity Stone made an appearance in GotG.

I don't mind the new direction, but they made these movies a decade ago. If they're running another reboot on us in another 10 years, we're all suckers.

That said...trailer looks freaking awesome.  Can't wait to see it!
