Through the tireless efforts of The Rhinebeck Area Chamber Of Commerce, down town Rhinebeck is now beautifully decorated with festive lighting to kick off the holiday season. With local businesses working together with the Chamber, over $1300 worth of lights now cover the trees which line the streets of Rhinebeck.

Saturday November 18th will be the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade of Lights. The festivities kick off at 3pm this Saturday and is open to everyone.

"Some village merchants will have extended hours to allow for shoppers to continue enjoying the village lights, sights and sounds. By Lighting up Rhinebeck' the Saturday before Thanksgiving, we set the stage for locals and tourists alike to enjoy their festive holiday stroll through downtown Rhinebeck." says Claudia Cooley, Executive Director of The Rhinebeck Area Chamber of Commerce.

Organizations looking to participate by hosting booths with child-friendly activities or be a part of the Children's parade that day can call the Chamber office at 845-876-5904 for further information.
