Warrant Wednesday: Dutchess County Man Wanted For Grand Larceny

Here are this week’s outstanding warrants from the New York State Police. They ask all of us to help by spreading the word. The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and, while we have highlighted an individual here, you can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants below.

New York State Police Troop K, Wappinger, are looking for 29-year-old Devon Y. Boakey for grand larceny, 4th degree.  According to the New York State Police, Boakey, is wanted for charges stemming from a Larceny complaint that occurred in 2006. Boakye was arrested by police after an investigation revealed that he had stolen over $1,000 from his elderly ex-employer. The Town of Wappinger Court issued a warrant ordering the arrest of Boakye after he failed to appear for court proceedings.
