What’s Your Favorite Halloween Candy? Because There IS A Correct Answer.

Halloween is that magical time of year where you get to put on a mask and harass strangers for candy. But the best part of Halloween comes after the actual trick or treating: it's the trading of candy with your friends so you can get rid of the ones you don't want and bring in some more stuff that you do.

This was a sacred ritual in my house every Halloween, and I became very good at conning my friends into giving up their best Halloween candy to me. I am talking, of course, about Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. What other candy even comes close to that level of greatness? Kit Kat Bars? Gimme a break.

The trick is to offer them a lot of something; they'll think they're getting the better part of the deal. "Oh, I'll trade you five rolls of Smarties for one Reese's." Go ahead and take my Smarties, I've got a thousand of them. I'm going for quality over quantity here. By the end of the night, I'll have a massive stack of Reese's and you'll be stuck spilling Smarties all over the carpet.
