As the seasons change over and things start to get colder, flu season begins.

It is recommend by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that everyone 6-months-old and older should get a flu vaccine every year by the end of October. They also say that getting an annual flu shot is the best way for a person to protect themselves from getting the flu.

The vaccination can reduce flu illnesses, doctors’ visits, and missed work and school, according to the CDC.
