I'm not a fan of ska. I'm a HUGE fan of ska! The band I've seen live most is Reel Big Fish, followed by Coheed and Cambria, and followed up by Less Than Jake.

LTJ is AMAZING live. The show is electric, they sound exactly like they do on their albums and I feel like I always leave saying "That's one of the most fun shows I've ever been to".

They just finished up Vans Warped Tour and they're going to embark on a European tour, but before that they're doing 2 shows in the NYC area. And you need to be there.

Starland Ballroom is putting down what they call "Skanksgiving 2016". Before anyone raises an eyebrow, skanking is the way people sometimes dance at ska shows. The show is the Saturday before Thanksgiving, so there's no need to brush off Grandma to get sweaty at a Jersey show.

The big thing about THIS show is that Less Than Jake is playing their "Hello Rockview" album in it's entirety. THE WHOLE THING!

Listen, there are albums and there are ALBUMS. "Hello Rockview" is one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. Start to finish, I still listen to it today. I actually remember where I was when I heard "Boring Town" for the first time. My oldest kid dances around the house to it.

If I wasn't on air, I'd be there. I'm actually bummed I can't be there. Do yourself a favor. See this show.
