Organizations providing vital services, such as job training and career development, are encouraged to apply for grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. Transgender Day of Remembrance Observances

In honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance, New York State will raise the transgender flag at the State Capitol and light up 16 major landmarks across the state in pink, white, and light blue on November 20. These illuminations will serve as a tribute to the lives lost due to transphobic violence and as a symbol of solidarity with the transgender community. Iconic locations such as the Empire State Plaza and Niagara Falls will participate in this remembrance, reinforcing the state's commitment to recognizing the contributions and struggles of transgender individuals.
