13 Hudson Valley Photos So Spectacular, You’ll Gasp

One of the cool things about Facebook is that people love to take and share pictures. And every once in a while you’ll see a picture or a series of pictures that are so amazing that you literally gasp. That’s exactly what happened to me when I came upon these Hudson Valley pictures.

I immediately contacted the photographer, John Barbieri, and asked for permission to do a gallery of his pictures for our website. John was more than happy to share his pictures. He feels half the fun is in the taking, and the other half is in the sharing. John took the pictures from his property in Burlingham, which is in Sullivan County just a few miles from Ulster County. He used his iphone for all of the pictures, with a few tweaks here and there. The results are stunning.

The Catskill Cats are Back for 2021

Many Hudson Valley towns do various outdoor art displays throughout the Summer. Catskill is known for it's Cats. These one of a kind creations are the work of local artist who wish to share their themed cats with the people visiting Catskill and Leeds. At the end of the season their is an auction with a gala where the Cats are auctioned off. Heart of Catskill is behind this great display that adds another reason to visit, shop and dine in the community.

Tour New York Renaissance Faire

The New York Renaissance Faire is one of the Hudson Valley's most favorite Summer traditions. The excitement can not be captured in pictures but these photos will at least give you some idea of what to expect. Lords, Ladies and merriment of all kinds awaits for the person who attends this festival of fun and frolic as you can see in these photos taken by Hudson Valley photographer Chuck Merrihew.
