Nothing says Spooky Season quite like a good jump scare! Luckily, there's no shortage of haunted attractions in the Hudson Valley. Take a look at 6 of the spine tingling attractions you can visit this fall.

2 Hudson Valley Haunts Make Nations "Best" List

The publication USA Today releases, every so often, their 10Best List in which their editors and experts break down some of the more popular businesses, towns and places across the nation.

During the fall months they bring forward their 10Best List for places like fall foliage spots, pumpkin patches, apple orchards and haunted attractions.

Before it gets to the 10Best List it starts as a list of 20. That list is then narrowed down by the public vote.

At the end of September, USA Today released their top 20 haunted attractions list and 2 from the Hudson Valley made the cut.

Pure Terror Scream Park and The Headless Horseman Hayride and Haunted Houses are currently in the top 20. We'll find out in a few short weeks where they land on the 10Best List and will keep you updated when we do.

Ulster County Pumpkin Patch Dubbed Best in the US

Speaking of the 10Best List, a Hudson Valley favorite represented for the fall this year.

Kelder's Farm in Kerhonkson was named one of the 10Best Pumpkin Patches in the U.S. coming in at #9.
