There are two different low-pressure systems that have sandwiched a high-pressure system in control of the Hudson Valley’s weather on Friday.  Things will stay dry and seasonal, but warmer humid and hotter weather is on tap for the last half of the weekend.

Saturday we will see scattered showers and thunderstorms as another weak frontal boundary moves through.  Most of the day should remain sunny and warm, but you’ll continue to feel an increase in humidity.  Then Sunday and Monday we will be back into the upper 90’s with higher humidity.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday:  Early morning patchy fog before 7am, otherwise sunny, high near 85.  You’ll notice a light south wind.

Friday night:  Partly cloudy, low around 63.

Saturday:  Partly sunny, high near 87 with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with the greatest chance in the afternoon.

Sunday:  Mostly sunny and hot, high near 90.  A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
