Spring has sprung and the month of May is ticking away. It’s already Mother’s Day weekend. Weather-wise, not a washout on Mother’s Day, but Saturday is the worse of the two days. A warm front on Friday night will touch off showers and thunderstorms late.

On Saturday, expect showers for most of the day. There could be some thunderstorms. The showers last right into Saturday night. The day is cooler and miserable.

For Mother’s Day, there is a chance of showers, but nothing like Saturday. Clouds will hang around, but temperatures will rebound into the mid-60s. A risk of showers, but not an all-day event like Saturday.

Saturday: Cloudy with showers expected. Thunderstorms could happen after 9am. High near 56.

Saturday Night: Showers before midnight with clouds for the remainder of the evening. Low near 45.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers. High near 67 and a low of 46.

Sunshine back for Monday. (It figures as we head back to work.)
