Alert: Wappingers Central School District Tax Bills Delayed

Attention Wappingers Central School District taxpayers - bills are currently delayed!

In an announcement from the Town of Fishkill via their facebook page, the Office of the Receiver of Taxes has announced that the Wappingers Central School District notified them of the current status of bills, stating

the 2019-2020 tax bills are temporarily delayed.  We expect to be able to mail them and make them available for online review/payment by the end of next week.  Your patience is appreciated.

This is an issue affecting only the Wappingers Central School District residents and is not expected to impact the collection timeline.

As other information becomes available, we will post on the Town's website and social media.

The school district tax collection period will run through October 8th 2019, with a penalty period for taxes that are paid between October 9th and November 1st 2019.  Any tax payments that are attempted after November 2nd will not be accepted.
