Children’s Day is back at Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Attractions!
If your kids are eager to get in the Halloween spirit but aren’t quite ready for a full scare-fest, this is the perfect event for them.
Known as a “tiny taste of terror,” Children’s Day is a beloved fall tradition here in the Hudson Valley, offering all the festive fun without the fear factor.
Taking place on Saturday, October 5th and Saturday, October 19th, this event transforms the normally hair-raising Headless Horseman experience into a family-friendly Halloween adventure.
The scares are dialed down, and the atmosphere is filled with laughter and excitement as families enjoy special attractions, hayrides, interactive walk-throughs, and plenty of seasonal activities tailored just for kids.
One of the highlights of Children’s Day is the Magic Moon Maze, where little adventurers can explore without worry.
Don’t forget to visit Witch Hazel’s Halloween House, the Haunted Gardens, and the Dino Zone—yes, there are even friendly dinosaurs making an appearance!
Throw in some live music, photo opportunities with characters, and a lot of surprises, and you’ve got the recipe for a memorable day.
The event runs from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm on both days, and the best part?
