She's been in a ton of movies, is passionate about reading and was recently spotted in the area.

It's always really cool when a celebrity gets spotted in an area right near you. Before anyone gets mad and says it's not the Hudson Valley, yes....this celebrity was spotted in Saratoga Springs, but it really isn't too far away from the Hudson Valley. Also, many people go there during the summer and it's a pretty popular location.

So that's your first clue, this celebrity was spotted at a bookstore in Saratoga Springs, New York.

The second set of clues are that she's been in some big and pretty popular movies like 'Mean Girls', 'Mamma Mia!', 'Dear John', 'Red Riding Hood' and many more. (I'd keep listing them, but we'd be here forever).  She's blonde, beautiful, been acting for a while now and she seems like a pretty down to earth celebrity. It's also been rumored that she has a home in the Hudson Valley so it's not that far off that'd she'd be spending time in Saratoga Springs.

What Hollywood actress was recently spotted in Saratoga Springs, New York?

In case you couldn't figure it out, that actress was Amanda Seyfried and she was recently spotted at Northshire Bookstore in Saratoga Springs, New York. It looks like she was having a fabulous day too, check out the great picture of her below.

Amanda Seyfried was there to support author Liz Moore and her book 'The God of the Woods'. I think we all are wishing that we went to the bookstore that day and could have bumped into her. It's awesome to see celebrities supporting other people and being so down to earth. Thank you Amanda for the great picture and we'll be on the lookout for our next celebrity sighting.
