Are you an animal lover? Would you like to help support a great organization and have a great time while doing it? Animals for Adoption, the not-for-profit in Accord that has rescued and placed hundreds of dogs, will be dedicating their recently refurbished community building so that they can train more therapy dogs and animal companions seeking adoption. The building will also provide a space for local events.

“Unleashed: AFA’s New Beginnings” open house will be this Saturday, May 13, from 2 pm – 4 pm. The open house will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, food and drink, animal obedience demonstrations, a multi prize raffle, and live entertainment from The Kurt Henry Band featuring Cheryl Lambert. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Animals for Adoption is located at 4628 Route 209 in Accord.

For more information about this Saturday’s open house and celebration, or to make a donation, log onto the Animals for Adoption website.
