‘Back the Blue Dog Walk’ Event Coming to Hudson Valley
Dog owners and their four legged family members will be able support local police officers by walking a socially distant parade.
Police officers have come under public scrutiny over the past few months. Officers who abuse citizens and break the law should be punished to the fullest extent. However, goof police officers should be celebrated as they selflessly put their selves in harms way on a daily basis. It's a sad reality that police officers say goodbye to their family members before they leave for work with the chance of never returning home.
Dog lovers of the Hudson Valley can participate in a socially distant dog walk to help show support for local police officers.
According to the Shenandoah German Shepherd's Facebook page, they will be hosting the 'Back the Blue Dog Walk' on August 30, at 9am in Lagrangeville.
Dog owners are encouraged to show up and show their support.
