Spring Is Here and So is Baseball Season!

It's been a long winter, and we're finally turning the corner to spring. One of the biggest signs that spring is officially here? Baseball season!

Major League Baseball kicked off the season on March 25th, 2026 when the New York Yankees took on the San Francisco Giants. The rest of the MLB took to the field on March 26th.

While we're thrilled that the MLB is underway, we will patiently be waiting for our local minor league baseball team The Hudson Valley Renegades to play ball at Heritage Financial Field in Wappingers Falls, New York.

Opening Day For The Hudson Valley Renegades Happening Soon

The season kicks off on April 7th, 2026, at home against the Wilmington Blue Rocks.

First pitch is at 6:35 PM and tickets are available now through Ticketmaster and the Renegades box office.

The first 1,000 fans at the game will receive a 2026 magnet schedule for the season. There will also be a handful of new additions throughout the stadium.

The Hudson Valley Renegades are starting to slowly tease some of the fun stuff coming to Heritage Financial Field for the 2026 season.

This season the Hudson Valley Renegades are bringing in the Beer Bat! It's exactly what it sounds like.

A bat shaped cup that is a vessel for an enjoyable adult beer beverage. Look at how cool they are!

On the Beer Bat is the Renegades alternate identity from the 2023, the Hudson Valley Cider Donuts.

Over the years there have been a few other alternate identities including the 2025 Hudson Valley Big Apples and the Hudson Valle Retrievers.
