The Black Keys were forced to take a four month hiatus earlier this year after drummer Patrick Carney severely injured his shoulder while on vacation in St. Barts. The hiatus is about to end with several high profile dates on the calendar.

The band returns to the road with a gig in Spain later this month before moving on to headlining shows at Mountain Jam and Governors Ball the first weekend in June.

While Carney has been rehabbing the injury, singer Dan Auerbach has enjoyed the downtime, while at the same time feeling bad for the fans who were affected.

"I wasn’t pissed off at all. I mean, I felt bad that we had to cancel for our fans, but at the same time, having a break for me personally was great. It was really nice to spend a lot of time hanging out at home. It was really good!"

Tickets are still available for The Black Keys headlining set at Mountain Jam, along with weekend camping passes and VIP options.
