It’s that time of year again—when the Boonville-Oneida County Fair returns to bring joy and excitement to the community! This cherished tradition, running since 1888, kicks off on Tuesday, July 23rd with the theme “Farm Fresh at the Fair,” setting the stage for a week filled with fun, food, and festivities.

Opening Day Highlights

Gates will open at 8 a.m. on the first day, but the official festivities start at 10 a.m. with a lively spelling bee. Kids and the young at heart can look forward to the Kiddie Tractor Pedal Pull at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., followed by an awe-inspiring fireworks display at 9 p.m. The fair's opening day promises to be a delightful mix of community spirit and entertainment.

Special Deals and Admission

Fairgoers with a receipt of $10 or more from any Oneida County business in July can enjoy free entry after 5 p.m. on opening day—what a fantastic way to support local businesses while enjoying the fair's many attractions! Admission is budget-friendly: $3 for seniors (60+), $6 for those aged 13 and up, and free for children under 12. Plus, parking is absolutely free, making it even easier to join in the fun.
