Ok, it is that time again, Daylight Savings Time. This Saturday (3/12) night before you go to bed you will need to set your clocks ahead one hour. If you are fortunate your smart phone already does this. However, the microwave and the other half dozen clocks around your house will need to be changed manually.

Also take this opportunity to replace the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

Here is when Daylight Savings Time officially begins (and ends):

Daylight Saving Time 2016 begins at 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 13 and ends at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 6.

 

If you forget to change your clocks in the Spring, you will be one hour late to where ever you were supposed to be. If you forget to adjust your clocks in the Fall when Daylight Savings Time ends, you will find yourself one hour early.
