Chris Cornell Announces New Solo Album, Tour

Chris Cornell has proven time and time again that he is one of the premier performers and song writers on the planet. He plans to add to his legacy with a new album and tour later this year.

Alternative Addiction reports the new Brendan O'Brien produced solo album, 'Higher Truth' will drop on September 18th. His solo acoustic tour kicks off a few days after the albums release and will run through October 27th with a show at Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium.

Unfortunately, there are no Hudson Valley dates among the announced dates. Although he will be playing at NYC's Beacon Theater on 10/28.

Chris Cornell performed at The Bardavon in the fall of '11. I managed to capture his final song from the show. Excuse the quality towards the end, all in all a terrific performance.
