Craft & Cheese: Build Your Own Charcuterie Board at the Hudson River Maritime Museum!
Ready to become the Picasso of the cheese board world?
Join local woodworking pro Kathy Prisco for a hands-on workshop at the Hudson River Maritime Museum, where you’ll design and craft your own cheese slicer and charcuterie board.
This two-day class on November 1st and 2nd is perfect for anyone from woodworking rookies to seasoned pros.
On the first day, participants will choose from a variety of wood types, create their patterns, and get everything glued up overnight.
Day two? That’s when the magic happens!
You’ll sand, trim, and add the finishing touches to create two custom boards: a 9” x 6” cheese board and a 9” x 18” charcuterie masterpiece. You’ll even get to add your own hardware.
This unique workshop is limited to just 8 participants, so early registration is a must!
Pricing ranges from $134 for Household Members to $155 for the General Public, with an option to bring a partner for an additional $75.
The Classes run from 6-8 PM on Friday and 11 AM-3 PM on Saturday, giving you plenty of time to bring your woodworking visions to life.
Registration closes on October 27th, so don’t wait to secure your spot. And if you’re feeling the spirit of DIY camaraderie, grab a friend and take advantage of the "Bring a Partner" option.
No experience is necessary—just a love for creativity, a taste for cheese, and an appreciation for functional art made by YOU.
