The across the border into Connecticut debate over pizza, and which pie reigns supreme is not new, but recent signage put up at the Connecticut and New York state borders on certain highways, that's new.

In an effort to 're-invigorate' the Connecticut marketing towards out-of-staters, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont had a series of signs installed at state lines to welcome people to CT. Massachusetts Responds to Connecticut Welcome Signage

Not surprisingly, Massachusetts was quick to respond to the CT signage regarding basketball, as even though UConn's years of basketball championships are certainly something to celebrate, basketball was actually invented down the road and across the border in Springfield, MA. Home to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield celebrates and honors being the birthplace of basketball with a 40,000 square foot space filled with history.

Following the installation of the signage, MA Governor Maura Healey made some corrections to the basketball capital claims and signage.

So, with MA taking their stance, what's our move, New York? How do we let CT know that even though they may have some great spots to grab a slice, that here in the empire state, we're actually the top dog when it comes to pizza?
