Have you noticed that it's been staying brighter, longer and the sun is setting later? It's true, brighter days are on the way.

There's something about the sun being out that gives me more energy, makes me happier and allows myself to have a great day. When the sun doesn't set until around 8pm in the summer, that's when I feel the most alive.

It would be a dream come true with someone who is currently suffering from seasonal depression, you're not alone.

According to the Farmers Almanac,

"The second Sunday in March is when Daylight Saving Time begins in most areas of the US, so in 2023 we will “spring forward” one hour on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2 a.m."

While New Yorkers dream about not having Daylight Savings Time, there are other states that don't partake in this.

"According to US law, states can choose whether or not to observe DST. At present, Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii, plus a few other US territories, are the only places in the U.S. that do not observe Daylight Saving Time and stay on standard time all year long."

It's also said that Indiana didn't vote to participate in Daylight Saving Time until 2006. Indiana has two different time zones which made it more confusing.

If the groundhog sees his shadow then we will see six more weeks of winter. However, if the groundhog does not see his shadow, then we can expect an early spring.

What are you looking forward to? Are you expecting an early spring or six more weeks of winter? I would love to enjoy warmer weather and see the sun stay up even later. Let us know below.
