It's the latest drink trend that kids and adults are loving. Have you heard of Dirty Soda?

What Is a Dirty Soda?

If you're not watching Secret Lives of Mormon Wives or on TikTok, you might be missing out on one of the most unique trends this year.

And it has nothing to do with the show. Have you heard of a Dirty Soda?

Dirty Soda is essentially your favorite kind of soda with a creamer of your choice and sweet syrups. The beverages are a hit in Utah according to Eater.com for Utahns "who abstain from alcohol and caffeine" as part of their Mormon religion.

The drinks are so popular that there's even a drive-thru chain dedicated to just Dirty Soda's. It's called Swig, which now has over 100 locations across the mid-West, and the first location opened in 2010.

Thanks to TikTok and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives have brought the drinks popularity to the forefront in 2025.

After seeing Dirty Sodas all over my timeline, I had to find out where I can get one locally.

Hudson Valley Dirty Soda Pop Up Shop

While scrolling social media I saw that one of my favorite bookstores, Pages and Pedals in Wappingers Falls, was hosting a Dirty Soda pop up shop.

Soda Girl is a pop up, mobile Dirty Soda shop out of Orange County, New York. While at Pages and Pedals I tried their holiday flavor of Dr. Pepper and eggnog.

It. Was. Delicious.

Check out Soda Girl on social media to see where they will be next and the flavors they are coming out with.

Great Places to Grab Drinks Across the Hudson Valley

If Dirty Soda isn't you're thing, that's okay. There is no shortage of bars and coffee shops across the Hudson Valley to get your caffeine fix.

Whether is a perfectly brewed coffee or a fresh locally made beer, there's something for everyone in the region.

Personally, I like a mixture of both so I always go with an Espresso Martini. Check out some of my top spots below:
