Who needs Six Flags when you have an animal safari right in you're own backyard?

In these quarantined times, we're always looking for something fun and different to do with the kids and that the whole family can enjoy.

Taking a trip to the zoo is obviously not in the cards right now while we all try our best to avoid another wave of Coronavirus. However, a safari? Totally doable. And, you don't have to spend a fortune or even leave the Hudson Valley.

Hurds Family Farm, in Modena, is hosting a Drive-Thru Farm Animal Safari this weekend.

On Sunday, June 28th, you and the family will be able to drive thru Hurds Family Farm and get to meet some of their farm animals.

According to their Facebook event page, their staff members will be at different animal stations throughout the farm. You and your carload of kids will then be able to feed a variety of different animals like their Miniature Ponies, Mama goat at and her baby, pig, sheep, ducks and chickens and a donkey.

The even is weather pending and the team at Hurds Family Farm is suggesting that you purchase your tickets ahead of time. Tickets are $20 per car and they are allowing 7 passengers in each car.

Tickets come with the following:

  • Animal Food to Feed the Animals during the Safari
  • 1 Box of Farm Animal Mac N Cheese
  • 1 Half Gallon Local Apple Cider

You can purchase your tickets now and get more information through the Hurds Family Farm website.
