The Dutchess County Loop Bus system will be adding Sunday service to several of their routes. The expanded service will effect Routes A, B, F and H and will go into effect on February 5th.

Route A covers the Route 9 corridor from Poughkeepsie to the Dutchess Mall in Fishkill while Route B takes passengers from Poughkeepsie to Beacon with stops along the way. Route F covers Poughkeepsie, Beacon, Fishkill and Hopewell Junction. Route H stops at the Mall, Marist Dutchess and several local shopping centers.

The added service will make it easier for residents to get around the county whether it's for work, tourism or shopping. The updated schedules are available at Dutchessny.gov.

Up until this point, routes have traditionally run Monday through Saturday. Rates will continue to cost $1.75 per one way trip, exact change is needed as drivers can't make change. Monthly passes can be purchase at 14 Commerce St. in Poughkeepsie.
