Escape Rooms Still All The Rage For Halloween

They've been around for a few years, but they're a trend that is not even close to going away yet.

Escape rooms are all over world. They've been featured on "Big Bang Theory", and there's even a Minecraft escape room. They're living puzzle boxes, and you once you get locked in one, you need to figure your way out under a certain period of time.

Some rooms are half an hour, others longer.

HOWEVER. The creepiest ones, for me, feature some sort of zombie chained to a wall and moaning at you. Which is why you'll never find me in one. I scare easy, and I'm not ashamed to say it.

If you wanted to try one, especially the horror themed ones as Halloween approaches, you've got some great choices.

The highest rated Horror Escape Room in NYC is at Mission Escape Games, near Columbus Park in Manhattan. There are more than one escape room, and the horror room has some ridiculously good ratings.

However, if you wanted to stay in the Hudson Valley, The Headless Horseman is doing some ridiculously good escape rooms. The 4 themes are "Blood Inn", "Houdini's Workshop", "Poison Plum Lab", and "The Collector". Obviously they're all themed for Halloween and are set up to freak you out.

So go ahead and get in the Halloween spirit and try to Escape The Room!
