They've been a staple in the Hudson Valley for decades, well technically for more than a century when the 270-acre property was founded in 1913 by the Morgenthau family. We have come to know this site as Fishkill Farms. Perhaps you've visited for one of their pick-your-own opportunities, to check out live music, pick up some fresh local goodies or your CSA, or maybe you've brought the kids for the fall activities and a hayride.

For the past nine years, Fishkill Farms has been hosting an annual fall event that supports amazing local causes, and they just released the theme for year number ten!

A Sheepishly Good Time For 2026

Benefitting two Hudson Valley-based organizations that provide support for animals, Fishkill Farms has announced their 2026 theme for their '10th annual Corn Maze for a Cause' - sheep!

For 2026, 30% of every $5 maze ticket will go to support Stony Kill Foundation and Safe Haven Fam Sanctuary, with all proceeds being split evenly between the two organizations.

They're inviting you to 'get lost for a good cause,' as 'every trip through the maze helps support these organizations and the animals that they care for.'

Please note - a pick-your-own reservation is required to access the corn maze, as it is located in the orchard!

About The Beneficiaries

Located in Poughquag, Safe Haven Farm Sanctuary has been operating in the Hudson Valley since 2008.

Their team works to give a lifelong home to farmed animals rescued from slaughter, with more than 170 rescued from the Mid-Hudson Valley on site. Additionally, they provide medical care, increase awareness about the benefits of a vegan lifestyle (for individual health and the health of the planet), and allow the community to get to know their animals through tours on site and social media.
