Priscilla Goulden, 51, of Clintondale, pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Ulster County Court to forging PTA checks and stealing $13,350 from the group for her own use, according to the Daily Freeman. The checks were written between November 14, 2013 and March 15, 2014, when she was the group’s financial officer.

She couldn't recall what she did with the money when she was first asked by the court but later said that she used them for her own expenses. When asked what those expenses were, she replied that she didn't know. The Daily Freeman article also states that while she has already paid some restitution to the PTA and as a result of her entering a guilty plea, she will be sentenced to to four months in the Ulster County Jail, to be served “intermittently,” and five years of probation.

According to the Daily Freeman, the judge imposed the intermittent sentence because Goulden is responsible for the care of a child and other people.
